	&lt;p&gt;That&#8217;s a really good job you&#8217;ve done there- very impressed!&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;I&#8217;ve been asked to make one for a friend of mine for his turntables but I&#8217;ll be honest I don&#8217;t think I can do it in time. I&#8217;ve not ordered the parts yet and I leave the UK in under 3 weeks.. How long do it take you from when you had all the parts?&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;I used 10mm prelaminated plywood. I wouldn&#8217;t use less thick wood. You can also use standard plywood and paint or laminate it yourself. But laminated is a lot stronger and better protected against scratches.&lt;/p&gt;

<content type="html">&lt;p&gt;They are grooved rivets, several websites mentioned that that would be the best choice, I have no experience with normal rivets, so maybe they&#8217;ll stick, but I would go with grooved if you can get your hands on them.
